Wow, a truly unfortunate week continues a unprecedented season, even for the NFL. The record for one-score games within 5 weeks was shattered. The parity is at an all-time high. Even Rodgers and Brady, two of the best QBs in NFL history, both lost during the same NFL week for once the 7th time since they were both starters (excluding when they faced each other). Nonetheless, the model had a poor week that wiped out the positive gains from Week 4-5, which was very unexpected, so no excuses. In past seasons my first profitable weeks never followed week this negative, so this is unprecedented territory, but I still wholly expect regression back to some level of normalcy for the NFL in general. Although there is bound to be weeks which are negative, this level of negativity is very rare.
